I am thinking of upgrading my cpu solely to enable me to play Mass Effect 2 and the Intel Core 2 duo E7500 is as much as I am prepared to pay for an upgrade. However, the Chinese retail version available to me does not contain Vitualisation Technology (according to the CPU World comparision charts and the Retailers Intel specification). My question is:- Does it matter whether VT is included or not as far as gaming is concerned ie will it make any difference to the graphics if its not included?
PS I have absolutely no idea what Virtualisation Technology is, so any advice would be appreciated. |

It won't make any difference at all. Virtualization makes things slower, so you don't want to run latest games in virtual environment.
