| I have 512mb of ram in my computer. i have two 256mb working dual. I just bought 512mb more from ebay thinking it was two 256mb's but its actually just one 512mb. when i put it in my computer, i get errors in boot up and restarts my computer in like 5 mins. is this because I need another 512mb so it can work dual as well? BTW: they're all the same brand Corsair ValueSelect. |

Do you have a motherboard with 3 or 4 memory slots?
If 4, does it support dual channel memory setting?
Can you provide the density of you memory chips? The info that came with them, normally reported on the back of the box
This is to gather the necessary elements for advicing, so people coming across may help you faster. |

| Dual Ram is a system used to help a computer achieve it is maximum processing potential. For an example, if you appeal abstracts from your computer, the ram and the processor run on far different speeds than one another. |
