I had some SX837 and SX950 P66 cpu's come in that
did not have an lettering on the top gold plate.
Is that normal? The lettering did not come off with the
heat sinks. |

I know IBM often sanded the markings off before gluing heat-sinks off
also Intel did produce some for OEMs that requested it not be put one
I have examples of both

The SX837 from week 28 is nice
Intel basically stopped production of FDiv socket 4s from week 19 - 30 expecting their non FDiv to be ready by the time stocks ran out.
This wasn't the case, so started making them again week 30 on.
So any socket 4 from those weeks.. is very uncommon _________________ There are 10 types of people in this world:
