just so you know.. the AS5300 series uses a 150MHz of this processor
but the main point is that the MIPs is soldered to the board.. not in a socket _________________ There are 10 types of people in this world:

Thanks for the info. It looks like I can find a 150 MHz CPU without too much trouble, but if worse comes to worst, I can get an AS5300 board and desolder the CPU.
Thanks for the link. I have seen that, but 100 MHz CPUs are apparently quite easily obtainable.
I'm looking for a 200 MHz CPU for a hardware hacking project with an SGI Indy.  |
