Turns out George already has both '73 catalogs, so I've put mine up on Ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270777749313
(The starting bid is that high because that's minimally what it's worth. Keep in mind, an early catalog like this is about 100 times scarcer than a 4004...)
Bidding ends 10 July - 5 days only.

I think I have both 1973 and 1972.
But to have it in PDF, will see if I can get the time to do it.
Just checked the Oct 73 Data Catalog and it is about 223pages thick! so it's not going to happen very soon I am afraid.
I would say it's worth about $50, but some people would possibly be prepared to pay $100-$200 for it. |

Hmmm, I've sold close to a dozen Intel Catalogs over the years, and even the more "common" ones (1976 through 1978) typically go for anywhere from $65 to $100 at auction. My 1975 sold for $250. The number of pre-1975 catalogs floating around could be counted on the fingers of one hand... So I'd say it's easily worth the $500 starting bid.
Incidentally, a scan of the September 1972 catalog is available from George Phillips - although, in general, having a PDF rather than the catalog itself is like having a framed photo of a C4004 as the centerpiece of your collection.
A little trivia: The 1979 catalog is the last to mention the 4004 and the first to include the 8086.

From a collection standpoint, sure, but from a researchers/information standpoint a PDF is every bit as useful. _________________ New for 2025! The CPU Shack has a co-processor!

Absolutely. Personally, I hate trying to read anything on a computer screen... Most of the time I end up printing PDFs.
The trouble with scanning things, too, is that with old books it often ruins the binding - so I'll leave that up to whoever buys the book.
