| I recently bought an Asus P5G41T-M LX3 motherboard and I want to install a ddr3 1333 ram (in OC mode by BIOS). If I install a Pentium E6600 with 1066mhz FSB, does the memory downgrade to ddr3 1066? What shall I do to fully maximize my ddr3 1333 ram? I'm a bit confused coz the ram and fsb must communicate at the same frequency, right? Or shall I buy a CPU with 1333 mhz fsb? I'm new to this site and I have a limited knowledge about computer hardware. Thanks to any reply.. |

Memory speed bus is asynchonous what means it works on higher speed than FSB in example.
If memory runs on slower speed then go to BIOS and force correct rate. _________________ Visit ABC CPU - Virtual CPU Museum. |
