wow interesting new model from VIA Tech. Very good relation power consumption to performance. _________________ Visit ABC CPU - Virtual CPU Museum. |

No, it has an absolutely bad power/consumption ratio compared to a Pentium M. It was an interesting alternative before the P-M, but now it's an useless chip.
Let's test it..but je sens que ça va pas le faire :p |

I don't see which model of Pentium M has been compared with VIA C7 1,5 GHz. I think it was identical speed Pentium M 1,5 GHz or maybe I'm in mistake _________________ Visit ABC CPU - Virtual CPU Museum. |

None at the time, but I tested a C3 Nehemiah 1.2GHz (C5P core) and it has the performance of a PIII 700 and can't be used fanless.
The C7 isn't very different from the C5P core so I don't expect the performance to suddently double...The only place to live for this chip is in embedded applications like micro-ITX mobos.

Oh so you review computer hardware. But that means you need to return the cpu after you finish reviewing it
All hardware review sites receive the test samples but need to return it afterwards. What happens if you don't return it? |
