amd athlon xd

This may be a lost cause. but I have an old Hp pavilion model number a384X. It has a amd athlon xp 2800+ in it currently. I received this comp for free. I cleared everything off of it and upgraded the ram, it runs great. I want to use this computer just for Corel draw and adobe illustrater. No internet, gaming, music, etc. The problem I am having thus far is i cant install corel because the processor doesn't meet the right requirements (Intel Pentium 4, AMD Athlon 64 or AMD Opteron). My question is can my processor be upgraded to meet said requirements? I like i said before this project might be a lost cause.

I have to say "no".

You can't put any of those cpus in your machine.
Max cpu is Xp 3200+, but it's the top cpu for that line, it costs a bomb and isn't so much faster than yours.
