I'm trying to use a good gaming processor, and i admit to good skills (but not in depth skills like this). I'm looking at an AMD Phenom II Dual-Core N660AMD, however site my friend looked it up on said its no better than a Core i3 370M. I'm a big gamer; i play WoW, SC2 (and will play the expansions), and many other games on my laptop i use now. I'm not that good at understanding overclock but i do know it makes the processor work faster/better. I'd like some help on figuring out which one of these processors would be better or if i should look at a different processor. I know its a lot to type, but i didn't wanna make people ask me a bunch of questions just to answer my one lol.

Any help would be appreciated Smile

you should give some info on your current pc components, like motherboard model, ram etc.

well the laptop i have isn't even good enough to run SC2 on lowest graphics, the graphics card is on recall and no updates have been given for it in 2 years (yes i've checked). so i was looking at new laptops and one had a 3ghz AMD Phenom II Dual-Core N660, but a website said its no better than an i3 intel processor (which imo is a bad one because it cant overclock).

If you're looking at laptops, you're going to need a graphics card- I'd recommend something with at least an Nvidia 530 graphics core- They will all be coupled with enough memory and processor (look for Intel, NOT AMD) so the system will be sufficient.
