Hi all,
I always want to know what it look under the heavy silver heatsink for Alpha 21264C but I won't scarific the good one.
I bought a damaged one last week so I could use it for my experientment.

It look like the IBM Power cpu.
To my suprise, the cpu itself is quite light and all the weight went to the silver heavy. I guess the temperature of the cpu is really high so it need a large heatsink. |
