| We have ten or so ALR quad Pentium Pro motherboards available. Anyone interested @ $40 each? Otherwise, they're going to be scrapped. |

They are a single (large) board. I believe they are used but all are clean.

I'd love to get one of these running, but it's gonna be very hard... no memory boards, no VRM's (dunno if the compaqs i have will work) and by the looks of it the board needs some special PSU connectors (besides the regular AT ones). for $40 it's an expensive (though cool) wall decoration.. _________________ I like the place to go *BOOM* |

I do have one of these in running condition. There is no case, but all the guts are hooked up and working fine... It has four Pentium Pro's 200mhz chips with 1 meg cache and 256 megs of ram... Plus a few extras. It does come with extra VRMS and two redundant power supplies.
I'm looking for someone who would want it. I'd like to get it out of my basement.
Interested? I can take a photo or video of it running if you're serious about getting it. |

| I want one to use too if less than $40. Can we wait for warmer weather when mailing might turn cheaper? A personal message can reach me fine. |

Google for ALR Quad6 and all questions are answered! The PSU Connectors and the PSU is special. There is a memory board wich can take SIM and another version with DIMM (EDO) slots. The maximum memory can only be reached with the DIMM board. The board also fits in Data general Aviion and Gateway versions of this server.
A very similar (and much more interesting) serer is the ALR 6x6. This server uses nearly the same case but different PSU. The memory board is the same like the one from Quad6. _________________ Frank. |

I have a small collection of this servers. From left to right:
ALR Quad6, Data General Aviion, ALR 6x6
So the left one is the complete system to the motherboards we are talking about... _________________ Frank. |

| I believe the VRMs are Intel-standard... Any VRM with the specification (8, 8.1, etc) will work, from any MFG. |
