2 - Gate Arrays Toshiba gate arrays TC110G integrating more than TC17G series. Uses Toshiba's proprietary HC2MOS/VLSI technologies (http://www.datasheetarchive.com/toshiba%20tc110g-datasheet.html)
3, 5, 6 - Gate Arrays
4 -Gate Arrays (http://www.pacificgeek.com/productdetail.asp?ID=3695028)
7 y 8 - Programable Peripheral Interface
AND THE WINNER IS..........
Nº 1 probably CPU from DEC VAXstation 3100 M76 SPX Model VS43A-CZ, (http://mail-index.netbsd.org/port-vax/1996/03/10/0000.html) |

for my yes, i collect all tipe of chips, but i don't think that much collectors want more that cpus.
by other hand, N1 not be a CPU because....
In this day some expert in DEC tell you the correct answer, be patient xD (http://ummr.altervista.org/digital_equipment_corporation_cp.htm) _________________ My small x86 collection: http://tegranphos.x86-guide.com/en/collection.html |

Hello,
chip #1 isn't the VAXstation 3100/M76 CPU, it's the System/Memory Controller ASIC. This IC is a 5K usable gates LSI Logic CMOS gate array. The VAXstation 3100/M76 is based upon a 35,7 MHz CVAX "Rigel" CPU that looks different. Check my webpage: http://ummr.altervista.org/digital_equipment_corporation_cp.htm for a picture of the whole motherboard.

Hello,
#2 and #4 have both DEC part numbers.
Gate array chips like #5 have been used in many different Amdahl products. If I correctly remember they are 1K usable gates CMOS devices. #6 have been used in Fujitsu and Amdahl products like hard disks, HDD controllers, mainframe logic cards and so on. These chips are bipolar (TTL) arrays, not CMOS.
