I just came across an article about a CPU that draws so little power that it can run off a postage stamp sized solar cell. And it's powerful enough to run Windows!

Now if only they could make the rest of a PC (or notebook) run on such little power _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

Didnt see the version of Windows they managed to run.
I figure Windows 3.11 for workgroups.
"The engineer then revealed what was powering the CPU in the system: ‘the processor consumes so little power that we here have it running off a small solar cell which is only about the size of a postage stamp."
.. and here is the size of the postage stamp
