I found this cpu after taking a trip to the Salem Dump, where infact tons of computers rest in the "Computer/Electronics" area. Although the sign says NO PICKING, I go on ahead and pick away, loading computers to the back of my sexy ford f-150 5.4L triton
I take the boards off usually to save them for gold scrap sale, and I bring the computer case ( made up of useless metal most of the times) back for another trip as an excuse to load up more stuff when they're not looking.
Anyway I found a bunch of other cpu's, but this is one that stands out. I did a search on ebay and I couldnt find this cpu anywhere. Check it out.

thanks for the link!
I'm guessing that piece is going to be a bit rare since the only one I could find was the in the link you gave me. Thanks again for that
If anyone else has this chip, please let me know, I'm doing sort of a "roster" to see how many of these things are around |

| i could never understand why they wouldnt want someone scrounging in a dump. if you find something useful, and take it out of the dump, then theres less in the dump, since its always a problem that they fill up too fast. |

IMO, K6-2/300AFR with black markings is difficult to find, but not rare. This is also true in regard to K6-2 266/AFR and K6-2/333AFR with black markings. There are more rare K6-2 processors marked "K6 3D" - these can be considered rare. They also have black markings.
