how come Mixeur on x86-guide rated SL27E 6 star rarity if they arent so rare?

I don't think anyone said SL27E is common. SY019 is common, and there are a lot of TT150 (or TT80503150) around. But most part numbers have more than one sSpec, and one may be common while another is rare. The best way to determine if a modern chip like that is common or not is to visit several collectors sites and see if they have it, and what, if anything, they say about it. Just because one person says something is rare doesn't necessarily mean it is rare to everyone _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

i use x86-guide for orientation .. would be nice if all members would update their collections there... mixeur's rating system seems kinda fair... together with that Intel timeline project started by some members of this forum, would be nice a project to set the rarity... and along with it some value rating... cuz are a lot of beginners like me .. and i know its annoying for old members to be asked on a forum silly questions... (like mine today - "what does NOS means" )
P.S. today i found an SL27E in an old notebook ) _________________ https://www.facebook.com/CPUCollectionRO |

New Old Stock.. means old parts that have never been used.
It is hard to pin down rarity as it can change very quickly
SL27E is one that has been around a few times.. but I myself havent found or managed to buy one yet _________________ There are 10 types of people in this world:

Not everyone uses his site for their collections. In fact a lot of collectors have their own sites, which means they can decide what information they want to display. For me, the site is hard to navigate, and (unless he has changed things there) it restricts what chips you can post. Most people don't onloy collect x86 chips, even if they started out with that as a goal
Nobody minds people asking questions. We all had to start somewhere, and to help someone with a mutual interest is part of what makes this a good community _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

x86-guide its a good start.. just need make an account and inna few hours you have a "mini site" for the collection..
i'll start soon to make my own website... but only when i'll pass 500 CPU's _________________ https://www.facebook.com/CPUCollectionRO |

it is worth noting what sSpec come out of what machine.. so if you find a rare one you know what machine to try for it again.
Like I know of only one notebook that uses a SL2JS
I have one dead machine, but still looking for a working machine
I'm about half way through your list.. I knew this week was going to be busy but I will finish it on the weekend _________________ There are 10 types of people in this world:
