Hi!

I solved the problem i had with the display/storage for single CPU:s and i thought i share it with you, and you might get use of it!

First i checked if it could be made out of PVC or Plexi-glas but the price where in the range of $25 each Razz .

One of the PVC suppliers hinted about Petri-dishes, used in laboratories. So i orded two different sizes, 20 pcs 90x15 mm (3.54x0.59 inch) and 20 pcs 60x20 mm (2.36x0.78 inch). Total of around $1.40 per dish incl shipping.

I had a thought about reselling these to you, but they take a lot of dead space and the swedish post office charges a alot when shipping this (around $30 for 40 pcs of 90x15 to US, and about the same to Europe). But if anyone wants, i will help you get these!

This is the result! I think it looks good, and now i can show the rarer chips to colleauges and friends, and they will be alot safer inside their holder.

those look nice, but they dont look like theyd be very good for organizing.. too much dead space between chips..

No, you are right, they take alot of dead space, but i was thinking about the rarest chips in a collection. Not the Pentium 133 Wink

These should be good as display boxes, say, if you want to take some chips to work or to your friend's house to show the chips. I agree with others - as storage boxes they take too much space.
