ES, Product Code or Engineering Sample?

Hi,

I found the following on eBay, the seller states here that it is an Engineering sample because there is an ES marking.

But another CPU he already sold has a QS marking in the same place. I think the ES and QS is just a product code and not the marking of a Engineereing Sample.

Both are processor samples (customer samples?), but not engineering samples. For both mobile processors sSpec number starts with "Q" and the seller forgot to mention it. Pentium MMX 166 (Q252):



Pentium specification update document does not list this sSpec as an engineering sample.

This one is probably Celeron:



I dont' have any information on it.
