More info for the http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/80386/MANUF-IBM.html page: These IBM "silvercaps" are otherwise Intel cores or design (hence the copyright) at a time when Intel was having a hard time with 386DX production. The CPU that is FRU 63F7615 I have tested out to be a CPUID (hint: you will need an IBM PS/2 or similiar to do this) 0305h, which is a "D0" stepping. Another FRU (which is IBM's "Field-Replacement Unit", or a part with all the same specs) of 51F1797 is also step D0, CPUID 0305h. I don't have the FRU 51F1784 shown on the page, but it is probably quite similiar. The FRU 23F7189 that I have a single version of is the only Intel C-Step 386DX (CPUID 0304h) I have ever seen.
