Can someone identify this Chip for me please?

I have an idea what it is but would like confirmation.

guessing will be a C8748 but will need to check further

Underside indicates Manufactured 25th week of 1980 in Malaysia...........Cheers

the 8748 & 8035 use very similar dies.. can you take a pic just of the die?

EDIT >> 8748 & 8035 use the SAME die (die is marked 8748 in both)

it is a 8748 die
the stepping info (4642W) tells me it is most likely made as a 8748 part and not 8035

if you can get even closer to the die... i have labelled where the markings are on the die

Just thought I best clarify this
Intel occasionally labelled 8748s as 8035s.. guessing the eprom memory area was either faulty or they just ignored it in wiring up the die

Soviet 8748, very similar die. Maybe it's 8741.

die matches.. but connection pads around the die dont

here is a die from a D8748

just had a look.. even thou 8748 & 8741 seem to have same die (but diff connection pads).. the 8741 die is marked as such and in different position

where the 8741 part number is located.. the 8748 has additional circuitry filling some of the empty space
