The chip is rare. I don't know much about its history. Cyrix never officially released 5x86 processors slower than 100 MHz. Their first 5x86 press release was for 100 MHz processor, then they released 120 MHz processor. It is possible that some of these <100 MHz processors were released prior to 5x86 official release (doubtful), or for use in notebooks.
