ummmm the forums clearly state that you guys r talking about K7s and 486s and Celeron233 cpus CURRENTLY, and by CURRENTLY, I mean the year 2005, now I dont mean any offense what so ever, I am just curious as to why you are so fascinated with the ancient technology you speak of and what good will gaining more knowledge of useless technologies from way back when would be.
im not verbally attacking u I'm just extremely curious
NE1 wanna talk about the AMD vs Intel lawsuit or about the FX-57 or about the P4EEs or the PentiumX?

In my mind this is unique forum. I see in internet big mass of services that type as you said. I will not tell their names but all we know. There are tests, news and other information about early cpus.
But this is great place were a lot of information about history of ALL processors. _________________ Visit ABC CPU - Virtual CPU Museum. |

most people here are interested in the history of older processors, and not just the top of the line models.
youre more than welcome to talk about current processors or lawsuits, and theres forums for those too, but in general this forum is about all cpus, not just new ones
as for the lawsuit, which one are you referring to? is there a new one? |

Have you ever heard of anyone that collected stamps? or Baseball cards? The older and rarest are the ones that those collectors talk about, not the ones that the post office just released. Not to mention some of the older chips have sold for more than a $1000 on Ebay. Not even Intels latest chip brings that kind of money.
Do you get it now?
