Hello,
the Hydra CCU is a image processing/displaying engine.
The other are SGI (Silicon Graphics) components likely from a graphic workstation.
They are all CMOS VLSI gate arrays. The Hydra CCU is more likely a full-custom design, developed by LSI itself.
The chip's purpose is identified by the third row (ID REV A, SI REV 4).
SI could stand for "System Interface", I guess, but I'm not so sure...
I know there is a LSI-made "SI" chip both in the high-end SGI Onyx workstation and in the smaller SGI Indigo2.
