I can't find any information on this processor. Intel usually does not publsh information about engineering and qualification samples. Does it have a part number somewhere on the chip (something like "RK80532KE067512")?

There's absolutely next to nothing on the net about these processors but I just recently had a matched pair that I sold and I happen to have all the information about them. So you guys are in luck.
Firstly this is an engineering sample, it has the usual "intel confidential" designation on the heat spreader. They're made in Costa Rica.
The processor itself is a 1.6GHz Low Voltage Prestonia Core Xeon with Hyper-Threading technology. The core stepping is C1. It's essentially an ES equivalent of sSpec SL6GV.
1600DP/512/400/1.30V
604-pin FC-PGA2/mPGA
0.13 micron wafer
512KB L2
400MHz Quad FSB
I was able to get mine up to 2.8GHz with a vid u-wire mod at 1.600V vcore.
Hope this helps. |
