I have an Intel 386-16 processor with "32" stamped on it. I know that there was a 32-bit bug discovered in these processors. Intel apparently recalled these and tested them. If they only functioned in 16-bit mode, they were stamped "16-bit only" and resold as such. Incidently, I would dearly like to get my hands on one of these. My question is: Is this processor one of those recalled that tested out to function in 32-bit mode or does "32" mean something entirely different?

Thanks in advance!
Norm

Probably "32" means something different. "Double sigma" mark on the processor means the processor doesn't have 32-bit bug, so it doesn't make sense to mark it twice.
