Intel C2167-70 SRAM chip

I recently purchased a bunch of vintage computer parts to expand my collection. I am stumped on this one though, I found information regarding what the chip is but have no idea how rare it is. Does anybody have any idea about rarity information for these? It is an Intel C2167-70 SRAM 16k bit x 1, purple ceramic DIP20 with gold leads and cap. Other info on the chip is N1201005. The backside says Malaysia 8115AP. I have seen other similar chips with numbers on both sides, like the 1101 and the 3106, but they are white ceramic. Any information would be appreciated. I am a new collector, I just started this summer.

These were not made for long 1981-1982 or so, they were discontinued in 1983, my guess is lack of demand. They were an upgrade to the 2147/2147H (higher capacity and higher speed, made in HMOS II)

Yours would be fairly early production as for collect-ability, they are probably worth saving, I am unsure of the value, because not many collect them yet, I would guess in the $5 range

Thank you for the information. Do you have a book that you get your information from? If so, could you reccomend an informative book with information of this sort?

There is an Intel collectors guide but it only covers the 1970s
