I don't really understand what you say.
I mean for the highest bidder.

Why?
By what way is correct?

The seller set the highest prices, daily down, until someone to accept.

This method can use?

In some auctions they have won the item for twice what the next person has bid

I have tried ebay style auctions and that has its own problems

Hasnt been used here before but some people have said they would prefer that style of auction

You can sell anyway you want... but i was just making you aware some people wouldnt bid

OK
Thank you.
I think, if the seller is honest, each pattern will be fair notarization.

last-name had no much experience about forum auction. He asked me for help.

I suggested him to do the way like neon_wa did before -- assign random numbers to different bidders as bidder ID, and publish the ranking with bidder IDs daily.

At the end of the auction, he will also publish the offers made by the top three bidder IDs .

So even if the highest bidder won twice, he only need to pay for the offer which is higher than the second highest bidder.

Does this sound ok, Stu? Anything rules need to be added?

nothing wrong with that.
seller can set the auction anyway he wants

what i was pointing out is that there are a quite a few people that have stated they wont bid with the original format of last-names's auction
but he can use that format if he wants too

yes
Before I understand error. I thought he has pointed out that I must be sold to the second price higher than the people, no matter is the same person.

the choice is yours
but you need to state at the start if the winning bid is made public or not
