I wonder if Intel produced anytime simple ttl sn74... series chips or cmos cd40? Does anybody know?

Sort of. They made a few SSI/MSI devices with 74-series (second source) equivalents; e.g., Intel 8224 = 74LS424.

| Most famous TTL SSI that have SN74 equivalent is of course 3205/8205 a.k.a SN74S138 decoder. |

So they produced only few chips of that series not whole series, right?
