MMC-2 is a Mobile Microprocessor Cartridge. Most mobile PIIs were packed in this fashion.
What you have is the much more comon uPGA package (microPGA)
it has little pins on the bottom. _________________ New for 2025! The CPU Shack has a co-processor!

There are 8 different PIII Mobile MMC-2 :
Intel Pentium III 450 Mobile MMC-2
Intel Pentium III 500 Mobile MMC-2
Intel Pentium III 600 Mobile MMC-2
Intel Pentium III 650 Mobile MMC-2
Intel Pentium III 700 Mobile MMC-2
Intel Pentium III 750 Mobile MMC-2
Intel Pentium III 800 Mobile MMC-2
Intel Pentium III 850 Mobile MMC-2
I think they will be more and more common as the time goes, because they will be more obsolete, so more sold...
Sammyc sold me a 450, some weeks ago... |
