Hello,

At this time I have problem Smile I don't know how to enter to SCSI bios in Compaq Proliant 5000 (Compaq Smart Array 2). When I got server he showed me some keys to enter but I do not remember and now he not show it. I must configure RAID on 4 disks. After that check from any errors.

I looked at Google and I found something what I propably need - SmartStart CD with Proliant 5000 support. I try to download it but I can't find this tool.

Please help icon_help

Hi,
on many scsi controller you can enter the bios hitting ctrl+r or ctrl+a or crtl+f during the boot process (I've tried this on adaptec, mylex, hp, sorry no compaq)

some scsi bioses (e.g. AMD-based dawicontrol-2974) require an external software which provides a graphical interface to the bios settings. There have been many earlier Compaq workstations that required additional software to access the mainboard's bios as well. Did you try searching hp's website about how to access the scsi ios?

Is it this one? -

They have different versions of this CD for free download when you click on "Download or Buy" button and go through end-user agreement page.
