first of all the update will not fix your "problem" is not problem
As u describe as a problem in other threat is a "Feature" not problem.
The overheat can resolved in other way.
As for update bios tell us m/b brant to help u
....And do the dios update from mb utiliti or direct via command if u familar with Dos syntax nOT WINDOWed dos or other way. |

the bios will not help your overheating issues in the slightest. a better cooling solution will though. look into upgrading your cooling solution rather than trying to brick your bios.
your computer knows what is best for you and is rejecting your attempts to damage your hardware. my suggestion is to stay away from your bios update until you have further knowledge of what a bios actually does and how to use it.
overheating is caused by your processor pulling more power to do more work. this is a natural reaction with all computers. your overheating issue lies in the fact that your heat sink and fan are inadequate for the job they are given. either from being too dirty (which cleaning fix's DO NOT USE A VACCUME CLEANER TO CLEAN COMPUTER PARTS) or because the heat sink and fan are not meant for a processor that strong. just as i explained in the other post. with the different types of processors, there are cooling solutions to match the power and heat from these processors.
your overheating issue has absolutely nothing to do with your bios at all.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BIOS
" The fundamental purposes of the BIOS are to initialze and test the system hardware components, and to load an operating system or other program from a mass memory device. The BIOS provides a consistent way for application programs and operating systems to interact with the keyboard, display, and other input/output devices. Variations in the system hardware are hidden by the BIOS from programs that use BIOS servcies instead of directly accessing the hardware." |

| A BIOS update won't fix an overheating issue normally. Try cleaning the computer's fans with compressed air, and then go from there if it still happens. |
