Upgrade a Toshiba a105-s2236, Celeron 400 M, chip SL9WT.
I suspect this is an M socket. What other chips can I upgrade?
Will a core duo or other work or must I stay with Celeron?

You may be able to upgrade to T7200/T7400/T7600 dual-core processor, but that depends on your chipset. Please use CPU-z or similar program to find out your chipset.

I can't find the maximum FSB for this chipset, so it's likely that the FSB is limited to 533MHz. The following dual-core processors may work:
- Core 2 Duo T5200, T5300
- Core Duo T2050, T2250, T2350, T2450
- Pentium Dual-Core T2050, T2060, T2080, T2130

The fastest one is Core Duo T2450.

After validating chip pin pattern and your research, thanks, I agree the core duo will work.
Would you happen to have a T2450? If so, would you consider trading for one of the 2 cpus that I purchased? I will pay the standard shipping if necessary.
