Strange cache on PentiumII

Hi,

I got an Engineering Sample of a PentiumII, i have never seen these kind of Cache chips.





Has anyone seen this before? They are BGA chips i think.....

Cool, even cache chips are engineering samples... They certainly look like BGA chips. I'll check my ES Pentiums tonight, although I doubt I have BGA cache chips on my Pentiums.

I have an ES like this. But mine is an early sample of Pentium III (Katmai) chip, clocked at 400 Mhz (4x100). First enginnering samples of Pentium III were in a P2 cartridge :



And it works fine !
