| Hi! I'm a newbie in this site. Just recently, I began to notice that everytime I boot up my desktop PC, there's an error notice in system date & time during the early stages of the booting process, so in this manner, I have to reset my BIOS settings over again coz there are other items that needed to be reset, like RAM timings, IDE configuration among others. This process is indeed very frustrating coz of the long time wasted before you can start to work. What's wrong with my unit? Do I have a corrupted BIOS file? How can I fix this? Any help or suggestions from the readers shall be appreciated. Thanks! |

Replace the battery.
The round grey botton battery you can see on your motherboard.
Costs nothing, and that's why you lose your settings everytime. |
