|
|
I recently got my hands on a U830 CPU (CDIP 48). Does anyone have some information or technical data about this chip? It is said to be an East German processor and the only 2 sources I found say, it has been used in K 1610/20/30 GDR personal computers from 1980: Computermuseum FH Merseburg (PDF, page 7) and A 6402 (based on K 1630), description on computer-archiv.de.
The markins on top are:
U830Cp
U4
and on the backside:

Here is a part of the datasheet. Sorry non-german guys... only in German available...
Btw: The manufacturing date of your chip is April of 1986. It was made in Dresden by ZMD. The funny thing is... the university,I'm studying at, has bought a lithographic machine of ZMD. We're using it now for testing purposes
