|
|
Hi everyone,
I've picked up something really unusual (at least I think) on eBay. It's an socket 4 Pentium SX835 with "ES" on the back. But I couldn't find any information about that there was an engeneering sample of the SX835 because I thought that ES processors usually begin with "Q"?
Is the processor a real ES processor or does the ES mean something else? Because there's nothing like "Intel Confidential" printed on the front of the processor...
My other P5-60 with the "PROCESSOR" printing has "F" _________________ Check out my museum project with more than 1500 CPU pics: http://www.cpumuseum.jimdo.com/ |

I think it's a production chip, and the "ES" letters do not mean "engineering sample".

Yeah, I noticed that it is quite common now that I have much more CPUs than 1 month ago _________________ Check out my museum project with more than 1500 CPU pics: http://www.cpumuseum.jimdo.com/ |
