Well, probably like many of you I saw that C4004 grey on ebay and hesitated at putting down the $750 buy-it-now price that the auction started with. I like chips, but it is just to rich for me. What I find somewhat amazing is that TMAC was the first bidder that put in a bid and made buy-it-now go away at $500 (i.e. - not willing to pay $750) then, bids $1000 in final seconds. Then auction ends at $1400. Anyone could have doubled their money on the buy-it-now.

Nay, that's crazy.
$1400 for a small chip.

Much overpaid, I think. It's just an mass-production Intel... _________________ Frank. |

Nevertheless also this "blue mauricius" gets more and more valuable.
let's see how much they bring in 10 years?
Maybe then some rich people sell a car for them.
When I started collecting I passed them at $200, now about five years later they bring up to 7 times the money.
...

Ha.. if you look at the winning bidder's feedback... he like to bid on EXPENSIVE (and collectable) stuff.. Including 15,500.00 baseball bat from Barry Bond... He could buy a Mercedes just by those money he spent on eBay in two monthes...
he must be kinda rich. _________________ My Intel CPU Museum: http://www.mynikko.com/CPU/
