hi, all.
Is it an engineering sample?
I only collected the X86 CPU.
I know nothing about the SUN's CPU.
Thank. _________________ Yan |

BTW, I have one UltraSparc IIi 440Mhz with the following marking:
Ultra SPARC IIi
C9221908 9944
PG2.11 GS1 USA
SME 1430 LGA
980
-440S
B18
If ES means Engineering Sample, could S means for sample???

Erm, I don't want to discourage you, but probably "ES" and "S" here just mean different core steppings or something.

Hi Slava,
Thanks for your opinion, I believe I won't be too serious for this matter as it just a additional bonus/fun if it really a sample CPU. I like it even it's just a ordinary SUN CPU.
