AMD Phenom II X4 920 with am3 ?

Hi everyone!

I am searching a new motherboard for the AMD Phenom II X4 920 and on the cpu-upgrade.com when I search for motherboard compatible with this cpu I have many AM3 motherboard that appears in this list.

Is this normal ? I thought that AM2+ cpu were not working on AM3 motherboard ?
