Is there any difference between AMD Phenom X4 9850 (95w) and the Phenom X4 9850B? I been doing Google searches, but either there's no difference, or I'm not asking the right question!

There is no difference afaik. B just means business class and these CPUs had a longer lifespan than consumer parts. Specifications matched between them.

I believe the 9850B isn't unlocked. Also, the TDP is lower on the 9850B.

There are some minor differences in the core voltage and TDP in the minimum performance state, otherwise they are identical:

So guess if I get a choice, it sounds like the 9850B is a bit better for longevity.
