You can leave the heatspeader if you are afraid to damage them. CPUShack has already done this so he should be able to help if you really want to do so.
I'd be interested in a Power5 |

This mcm resembles the Power4 in the presentation (cpugalaxy), but according to the part number on the book it was removed from, this MCM should be a Power5... Great demonstration on getting this done. I see where I went wrong though! I removed the set screw on the first one I tried... This looks like a must have for pushing it out. Thanks for the help!!!
I have a bunch of, I believe to be, white single core Power5 MCMs. They are soldered on to PCB though. Any tips on getting these off? |

They can be unsoldered heating PCB on the other side. I prefer to not unsolder them. I keep with the PCB. _________________ Wanted: 4 x VT-25-A tubes |

So just cut around the processors and leave them soldered in? Just want them in the easiest shape to sell. |

I'd either do that, or if the PCB is small enough (processor card) just leave it on the card. |
