Here's an Athlon 550 (Model 1) from my collection, it has the same upper connector, perhaps for testing purpose...

The 'Wing' is actually a "Winged Foot" - the symbol of the Greek God Mercury - so perhaps the board is a 'Mercury' version?

This is the debug port of the slot A Athlon. You can read more about it here:
http://www.hardware-one.com/reviews.asp?aid=178&page=1
It allowed access to the CPU multiplier, so overclockers constructed "gold finger devices" that plug onto the debug port, and allow selection of multiplier with dip switches.

Yep, classic "gold finger" hack.
Can change voltage as well.

The PCB number is higher than most bare K7 cards I can find.. so presuming Thunderbird

Would be nice to compare with a bare Thunderbird card

Edit.. found a few bare Thunderbird K7s.. both have the winged logo
