The 'Wing' is actually a "Winged Foot" - the symbol of the Greek God Mercury - so perhaps the board is a 'Mercury' version? _________________ All this has happened before, and it will all happen again... |

I have a 650 one also have an upper connector.

This is the debug port of the slot A Athlon. You can read more about it here:

It allowed access to the CPU multiplier, so overclockers constructed "gold finger devices" that plug onto the debug port, and allow selection of multiplier with dip switches. |
