Got a couple of these from Taobao and CPUShack, and can confirm that these are dual die L3 cache chips.
However I do not know from which system these are coming from... I suspect that they are from Power4 systems as these look like the Hitachi cache chips discussed here http://www.cpu-world.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=22321.
