| Hi! Can anyone help me eradicate the fan noise of my Asus P5KPL-AM EPU motherboard? I enabled the Q-fan feature of the board and I set the fan profile to "optimal mode", after that the fan was still noisy (it spins above 3,000 rpm). Then I reset it to "Silent Mode" but still there's no improvement at all. I'm just browsing the net most of the time and I don't do some multi-threaded apps and just wondering why the fan spins so fast? Please help. Thanks! |

If yes, do you use Intel box fun with four pins? |
I used the stock intel cooler plugged into 4-pin CPU-fan connector and one 80mm case fan at the back of the case connected to the power supply unit. |
