today i got this tool .. never seen anything like this before..
is it for fixing bent pins? or?

| This is intended to remove the processor from the socket. Usually this instrument was in BOX version Intel CPGA CPU. |

I have a similar tool from a TI based 486 upgrade chip that has very thin straight sides that I use as a pin straightener, so you were sort of right! _________________ General failure reading disk in drive A
