Any idea what it could be? No, I don't have better picture. I'm not sure bid or not to bid.
I like datecode - it's remind me something. But except that I have no idea what's it or who made it (CIM? GIM?)

Made by General Instrument. RO 5 should be mask ROM.

I think you are right. It's from GI Microelectronics

I've found product catalog from 1978 and there's a few similar part numbers on the list.

I have some of the same type. I addition the numbers go from SEL01 up to SEL05.

I think I got these chips out of big printers some 30 years ago and I also have no idea, what they are...
