|

Hello to all!
I am preparing for the 4004 boards and wanted to buy more 4289 memory interface chips from an ebay member. I've bought from that shop for two times, both have no problem. Recently I made an offer for dozens of 4289 chips, and when I asked how to pay, the seller sent me a Paypal invoice. The invoice only claimed 1 item named 'Goods'.
Now the question is, is this a safe way to pay for the chips I bought? I'm really not familiar to Paypal and really concerned about that.
Thank you very much for your attention!
Best regards,

when you buy via ebay you are safe.
the buyer is safe.
that's why paypal takes so much fees from the seller, lol.
when you buy directly and the seller sends an invoice with item description "goods" there is no proof what you pay for. and no paypal rule let's you take your money back. then it is just like a regular transaction from bank to bank under normal law.
That invoice is just a method of requesting money, you have nothing in hand.
ask the seller to send a detailed invoice, stating eg. 60 x Intel D4289. then you have at least something you can show to court or an attorney.
good luck! |

best way is to check the sellers background.. i often buy first time through Ebay and keep contact with the seller and after that buy directly ... if the seller has hundreds of positive feedback and no negative of just few you can trust him... _________________ https://www.facebook.com/CPUCollectionRO |

Thank you all... I just sent a message to the seller in ebay to confirm, because the previous invoice is made through e-mail and I'm starting to worry who the person I'm talking to really is...
Should have no problem. Thank you again! _________________ Tracing 4004 all over the world |
