compatible CPU ?

I need some guidance in choosing AMD CPU for my old laptop.

It currently has
Processor : AMD Turion™ 64 X2 Dual-Core Mobile Technology
Model : TL-64
OPN Tray : TMDTL64HAX5DC
Process Technology : 65nm SOI

and I'm considering this model for CPU upgrade
Processor : AMD Phenom™ II Quad-Core Mobile Processors
Model : N930
OPN Tray : HMN930DCR42GM
Process Technology : 45nm SOI

From AMD website, two have different process technology... would this work on my old laptop ?

They don't use the same socket. The TL-64 is s1g1, the N930 is s1g4. So they are not compatible.

The N50 also uses different socket. Please check pages on this site - they will tell exact variation of the S1 socket for each CPU.

What about TMDMK36HAX4CM and AMETK42HAX5DM

One is Turion, other one is Athlon, but both are S1G1. Are they compatible?

Also, one is 10x and other is 8x. Is that imporntant to match?
