Nice!
"FORTH code, Java code, and even some C code"
Forth and Java (and LISP) processors are well known, but C?
Even software interpreters are rare, why someone may want to do it in hardware? Smile

Where there is a will there is a way, some MCUs execute opcodes that are very similar to a C subset
Obviously not the entire C language but the idea was obvious

Lots of books I have here + old books/magazines on Google + on occasion talking to some of the old designers themselves
