In my opinion TMG778 is something else, not a speed. "0306" is a datecode, i.e. 6th week of 2003, which coincides with the fact that TM8000 has not been rebranded yet as an "Efficeon" at that time. Other markings don't look like they have anything to do with processor frequency. So, your chip is probably an earlier engineering version of TM8000 without any specific speed.

a collector of China tell me, all of transmeta mark TM8000 is engineering sample. the TM8000 be rename to TM8X00 before selling.
but i can't find anything abput TM8000 on www.transmeta.com.
