an intel processor ES with 8508 datecode on top while 8316 on bottom.
Do you believe it is normal ES or normal processor?

Normal fake. 2 years between die making and chip assembly would make me checking the chip twice.

I am suspecting it is fake also.
I was told mor than 60x pcs were sold to collectors already. I wish non from here.

5 years later, this chip is still on the market :


and the original seller seems to have many others pieces available : C4040 ES, Cyrix M1sc, ...etc. All fake.

Origial seller of this CPU, or better where the picture come from is a member here with a shop on Taobao
I bought several items in the past from him (last , two weeks ago) with satisfaction
may be you refer to another seller which scam a picture from his shop
